COMO Foundation works with the businesses within the COMO Group to define their community investment strategies and build partnerships that create shared value. In Singapore, COMO Foundation also manages corporate philanthropic contributions to Institutes of Public Character as a qualifying grantmaker as defined by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Garden City Fund

The Garden City Fund was setup in 2002 as an independently-managed Institution of Public Character by National Parks Board to consolidate public support for Singapore’s vision of becoming a City in a Garden. COMO Foundation managed a donation under this Fund, for the build of a playground named the “COMO Adventure Grove” to serve families visiting the Gallop Extension of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The playground was officially opened on 13 March 2021 and features play elements inspired by nature. These included structures resembling the aerial roots of the Weeping Fig and the warty surface of a giant Cempedak.
